A beautiful morning run (Part 2?)

Following the morning run (and a full day of work), I challenged myself by ending the day with another workout. This time I started off with 20+ minutes of core followed by half an hour on the bike. I have to admit; it’s not easy to incorporate two proper workout sessions in a single day but I do hope I can make this my new normal.

  1. Funny, I got hissed at when I was training steady twice a day.
Be very careful about overtraining ultimately leading to injury. We program ourselves for “pain and gain” but the “gain” only comes during recovery and you need to make sure you are giving yourself a chance to do so. I have learned I get more out of adding intensity and confusion to the time I do train rather than addign more time to training. Unfortunately I’ve learned this the hard way.
Some people can train hard twice a day, don’t get me wrong. Just keep an eye on what’s pain and what’s potential injury.
    Good Luck and keep pushing.
